Eat Salt Lake

This post is for Rob, who’s been utterly disappointed by my lack of commitment to this blog. It isn’t that I’ve lost the passion for trying new restaurants, I’ve just not made enough time to actually write about them. Until now.

I love sandwiches. Sushi is better, but sandwiches are 2nd best. I’m happy to report that I have a new sandwich craving.

Now that I live in the Avenues I don’t often make it to Sugar House for lunch or dinner. I made the trip a few nights ago, however, to meet a friend coming from the south and we sushi ate at Tsunami.

For summertime atmosphere Cafe Trio is hard to beat. The patio is usually an ideal place to spend an evening eating great Italian food. I assume the rain is to blame for the patio being unavailable last night. I was disappointed since that was one of the main reasons I wanted to eat at Trio.

Just had a quick bit to eat at Saltimbocca on 21st South. I can’t remember where, but I met one of the founders of the restaurant and he said it’s all hand-made Italian food. It’s located in the space where Maui Tacos used to be.
