I’ve been hearing about Cucina for quite a while now. My friends who know that I love deli sandwiches have been telling I need to eat there so today I made the trip.
The restaurant seats plenty of people with both indoor and outdoor seating options.
Cucina has an ordering process that reminded me of Tony Caputo’s. There is a large glass case with a variety of salads and pastas to choose from. In addition to these items they also have a sandwich menu.
I ordered the Tuscan which has grilled chicken, tomatoes, etc. and is served on focaccia bread. My friend ordered the Club sandwich. I liked my sandwich but my friend seemed to enjoy her sandwich more than I enjoyed mine.
I will say that my sandwich was monstrous. I ate half of it and was full. I think it was at least 50% bigger than the Club sandwich.
I’d like to go back and try another sandwich. My first impression wasn’t incredible but it’s been recommended so much that I feel it’s worth a second shot.

I like to go to Cucina, but I always come away somewhat disappointed withthe food and service. Plus, it takes forever, so it’s not practical to head there for lunch during a workday. It has tons of potential, though.
